Why  We're Here... In our fast-paced world, it is difficult to escape from the pressures and perplexities of daily living. Career demands, personal relationships, and family situations often contribute to depression, grief, anxiety, and other emotional hurdles. In the Samaritan program, we work together to renew the whole person: spirit, mind, body, and community. Our goal is to help people cope with their problems, grow toward spiritual and emotional maturity, and strengthen personal relationships.

The Samaritan Counseling Services of the Gulf Coast, Inc., is a faith-based ministry expressing the healing love of God. Client's religious perspectives are respected and may be used as a therapeutic resource. Samaritan counselors do not impose their personal religious beliefs on others.

Samaritan Counseling Services of the Gulf Coast is located in Sarasota, Florida, with branch offices at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church in Bradenton, Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Venice, First Baptist Church on Main St., and at Harvest United Methodist Church at Lakewood Ranch.
