On life’s highway,
we drive and drive and drive.
We take exits,
some for activity-jammed holidays
or more-driving-required vacations.
But while on this highway,
we often pass road signs inviting us
to take the next exit to rest.
What is at that exit?
What if, with God’s help,
you could develop and design
your own rest exit,
a place where doing stops
and being is encouraged?
Besides commanding us to take rest,
he and his son modeled it for us.
What if you followed their lead
and took the exit to rest?
