Griselle is a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
Griselle earned her Master of Arts in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of South Florida (2018), and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida (2016).
Her clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy-informed skills, trauma-informed care, and relational interventions as appropriate. She has completed training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 2), Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT-informed), and is certified in Spiritually Integrated Therapy through the Samaritan Institute.
In 2020, Griselle joined Samaritan Counseling Services of the Gulf Coast’s partnership with Easter Seals Southwest Florida, providing mental health counseling services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and their families.
Griselle works collaboratively with clients to address concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, unhealthy relationship patterns, maladaptive coping behaviors, chronic illnesses and disabilities, and emotional regulation, while honoring each client’s values, strengths, and lived experiences.
