Maria is a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides youth and adult counseling.
Maria earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, FL, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education from the University Simon Bolivar, Vzla. In addition to all of the traditional Mental Health Counseling Program training, Maria also has received training in Spiritually Integrated Therapy from the Samaritan Institute and completed trainings in evidence-based modalities and curriculums such as, but not limited to Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Families Moving Forward (FMF) Specialist, and a facilitator for the Circle of Security Parenting Program (COS-P).
Maria strives to be genuine and empathetic in both her work and personal life and finds that these characteristics enhance her ability to relate to others in all circumstances.
