Deanna is a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern who earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health through Liberty University. Deanna has ten years of experience working with children, adults, and families in areas of abuse, poverty, substance use, trauma, parenting, behavior issues, and life transitions. Deanna is certified in Foundation of Infant Mental Health and is currently pursuing certification as a trauma healing group facilitator through the Trauma Healing Institute.

Deanna’s approach to counseling is relational and Person-Centered partnering with clients to work towards their goals and potential. Deanna is dedicated to understanding client’s concerns and helping them find effective ways to cope with them. Deanna is committed to integrating spiritual values and beliefs into the counseling process to the extent that clients desire as finding a balance in mind, body, spirit, and community is one of the best ways to restore health and well-being.
